After two years running, we have had more fun and met more people then any of us could ever have imagined.
Mike Price, known by most in Ettrick as Hillbilly, has been nothing but wonderful to us. The accommodations and hospitality at his bar have always been great. It's our second home.
Nub and his staff at Nub's Pub in Bangor have been tons of fun. What a great place to play! Being around people that love to have fun and appreciate live music always makes our stops a blast. And who could forget the nite that Ryan Sacia decided to kick of "Summer of '69" from the top of the bar? For those that missed it: the guitar intro ended with him doing a face-plant and sliding head-first (across a beer-soaked floor), back to the stage. In the process, he took some paint off of his brand new Telecaster, but it's amazing what a few battle wounds can do to the tonal quality of music gear.
Trevor from the Blair House has become a good friend. Thanks for everything Big T! The short trip to Blair is always a drive that we look forward to.
One of our biggest shows each year is Nate Trim's Annual Catfish Days Bash. Nate has done a great job of turning some back ground music into a street dance that people from neighboring towns come to enjoy. If you're looking for a Catfish Days "warm-up" in 2008, it's guaranteed to be fun. BYOB. A lot of it!
We played North Bend Days in '07 and had a great time. It was nice to see the fest activities return North Bend. We have been invited to back in '08 and are looking forward to it (thanks Ryan Young).
And of course, Arnie Andrews at Cow 97 has been just as instrumental as the band itself. He's like the seventh member of the band. His "plugs" for our originals and live interviews have been invaluable.
Mr. Brent Harris, from time-to-time, helps us out for next to nothing in pay. Most pictures and videos from this website are his creations. He's far more appreciated then he'll ever know.
Our sound-man has been awesome. As a guy that is trying to break into the sound business, Harold Johnson has been very dedicated to Redline Outlaw and getting our live sound dialed in.
Dennis Anderson (Old-man Sparks), thank for all your contributions to the band as well. Whether it's a Les Paul, a microphone, a stage monitor, an amp, cords, or even a travel trailer, you've been there in many times of need.
And Last of all, we'd like to send a heart-felt thank you to our girl friends. You're there helping setup at 6:00PM. And you're still hanging in there at 2:30AM, to help tear down. Deanna, Sally, and Cheryl; we are grateful. Now, if we can just find Sparks a good woman!?!?!
Thanks to everyone that has E-mailed us here in the past. Keep 'em coming. We enjoy hearing from you.
There are many friends, family members, and business partners that we didn't get to. Most of you know who you are. And many times, just being there has been all that anyone could have ever asked from you. Your continued support is what allows us to keep on rockin!!!
We hope to see you all soon in '08.
Cheers to a good year!
